The Portland Actuarial Club provides continuing education and networking opportunities to Actuaries and aspiring actuaries in the Portland Metro area.
Monthly Luncheons
We have a luncheon once a month with a guest speaker, covering topics ranging from economic and investment issues, to regulatory and demographic trends, to professionalism and management skills. The first half hour of each luncheon is a good chance to network with other actuaries and guests.

Who can Join
Membership is open to anyone who has one exam and one year of actuarial experience, and the cost of attendance for members is usually carried by their employers.
Other interested nonmembers are welcome to attend as guests and cover their own charge. We have such several frequent attendees exploring the actuarial profession and would love to have you come, too. The cost ranges from $32-40 a plate and is billed after the meeting.
